CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
VICTRANSA is aware of the role that companies play in all aspects of society, whether these aspects are economic, social, or environmental, etc.
This is why VICTRANSA, with the double generic goal of improving service quality and increasing knowledge that company components had regarding the sector, and with the specific goal of improving processes, decided in 1996 to implement ISO 9002, a certification that it earned in 1997.The next goal for VICTRANSA was to perfect both our environmental management as well as vendor management in order to help improve our surroundings. ISO 14001 and 9001 certifications were earned in 2004. Even though reaching these goals means dedicating resources, time, and staff, we at VICTRANSA understand that the environment depends on everyone’s actions, no matter how small these actions are and no matter how insignificant their impact on our surroundings may seem.
During these past years, VICTRANSA has put aside part of its budget to work with non-governmental organizations, cultural and sports associations. Specifically, VICTRANSA, in conjunction with two other companies in Osona County, has supported the historic Vigata Orpheum as a sponsor. We also participate by allowing the Vic Food Bank to use part of our facilities.
VICTRANSA understands Corporate Social Responsibility to be not only a set of contributions or activities that improve some societal aspects to a point, but also as a group of internal policies aimed at improving its personnel’s work life.
For this reason, VICTRANSA applies hour reductions or flex time options for company personnel as much as possible, even though internal social policies derive their strength from the facilities and financial resources set aside for personnel training.
Lastly, we would like to point out that within the framework of VICTRANSA’s Corporate Social Responsibility is the effort carried out throughout these past years to reduce as much as possible and progressively the temporary nature of work contracts, bringing onto the full-time staff a growing number of workers in relationship to the total number of personnel.
Companies are made up as people and people are affected by what goes on around them. That’s why VICTRANSA tries to be respectful of the environment, society, and people who are the ones who help companies to achieve success.

VICTRANSA POLICY
VICTRANSA is a company that historically has been dedicated to transporting conventional merchandise by land. Over time, it has become a complete logistics operator. Its evolution to this point allows it to today offer services nationally with direct routes, linking up daily with its distribution centers that are spread out strategically across the Peninsula and the islands. This has been made possible thanks to the clear support of the VICTRANSA Administration for Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001/2000), Environmental Management (ISO 14001/2004) and Workplace Risks, a Complete Management System that has allowed us to focus on the resolution of our customers’ needs and the transformation of these problems in the improvement of our services.
Victransa currently carries out three basic services:
• Transportation of industrial packages, for which we promise to meet established deadlines without major incidents related to the merchandise that is transported
• Transportation of full loads, with proper and competitive pricing for the market
• Logistics operator that takes care of customer stock, preparation of orders, updated stock, etc.
To carry these out, we offer:
• Direct and transparent dealings with our customers through a department designed to offer individualized care to each of our customers (DACC).
• The creation of improvement groups with the goal of continually perfecting customer management though the reduction of costs while maintaining Victransa's margin.
• The creation of a dynamic business structure capable of adapting to our customers' changing needs.
• Continual training and motivation of all staff as a strategic future tool, since our staff is our most valuable asset.
• Tracking and control of Workplace Risks with the goal of guaranteeing and improving working conditions for all VICTRANSA personnel.
• Implementation of pollution prevention systems and continual improvement systems for our business activities in our Total Management System and Environmental Management system with the goal of intensifying Environmental protection.
• Complement legislation throughout our business environments, whether operational or environmental.
In summary, we support a Quality system which we improve daily and offer to our customers with the security that comes from believing in our Complete Management System, begun in 1999, the year when we were first certified UNE/EN/ISO 9000.
